Half Dome

Went hiking at Half Dome in Yosemite the weekend of 5/30. We started hiking on Saturday morning around 3am and got back to our cabins around 6pm. It was probably the most intense 15 hour 16 mile hike I ever did. It was definitely a good experience physically as well as mentally. I would definitely do it again, maybe in 10 years, haha.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Half Dome.

Half Dome is a granite dome in Yosemite National Park, located in northeastern Mariposa County, California, at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley — possibly Yosemite’s most familiar sight. The granite crest rises more than 4,737 ft (1,444 m) above the valley floor.
